The practice of Gastroenterology involves treatment of disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, gall bladder, pancreas, colon and rectum. A very important facet of Gastroenterology is prevention of colon cancer. The field of Hepatology entails disorders of the liver. All of our doctors are board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Many of our physicians have a particular expertise within Gastroenterology and Hepatology and are recognized to be leaders in their fields.

Digestive Healthcare of Georgia has 3 offices in the metropolitan area. Our Atlanta offices, the Liver Center of Atlanta, the Research Division, administrative personnel, and Digestive Healthcare Endoscopy Center are located on the located on the campus of Piedmont Hospital in Buckhead. Our Fayetteville office and the Summit Endoscopy Center are situated at Fayetteville Community Hospital. Our Jasper office is at Mountainside Medical Center.
